Welcome to Zuccini Fantosi, my food writing blog. Here I will share with you receipes, eating experiences and all other things foodie. In our household food is almost a religion.

We have a three year old daughter who is also a complete 'foodie'. Much of our life outside of the dayjob surrounds the cooking and eating of food.

I passionately believe that good food doesn't have to cost the earth - in both senses of the word.

In our house, the kitchen isn't just a place for cooking - it's also for singing, dancing, debriefing our busy days and winetasting. Cooking is a ceremony of love and the more involved in stirring, shaking, grinding, poking and offering 'advice' the better :)

One day I will write a cookbook - for now, there is this blog. I hope you enjoy.

By the way, I'm an old fashioned home cook. Measurements are approximate - A cupful, a dollop, a splash, a thimble, a knob, a spoonfull etc. Precise measurements have no place in my kitchen - your tastebuds are the best scales. Taste and adjust :)
